We are a new Association, the first meeting was May 2018. Most of us were attending other Beekeeping clubs and driving quite a distance to attend. When we realized there were quite a few of us traveling as well as plenty of interest from new beekeepers CCBA formed. Our goal is to spread our love of honey bees and make sure our community has the opportunity to learn the art of beekeeping.
We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month. Our meetings start at 6pm with a 30-45 min lecture of Beekeeping 101 for Beginners or guest speaker. The General Association Meeting begins at 7. Meetings generally last one to two hours and are welcome to all.
